Central State Glass has been known as the non-automotive division of K&K Glass, Inc., which has been owned and operated by Dan Knowlton since 1994. Rob Kassabaum has been VP and General Manager of K&K Glass since 1997. Early in 2021, a plan was formulated allowing Rob the opportunity to purchase the non-automotive portion of K&K Glass and rebrand it as Central State Glass.
Rob entered the glass and glazing industry in 1981 as an apprentice. At that time, he met Dan‘s father Ced, who was a supply-side representative for a national vendor. He credits Ced with an invaluable trade mentorship. This family and business relationship has continued through to this day. Central State Glass (CSG) will adhere to the same values that have elevated K&K Glass to its prominent market position. CSG is proud to announce that the same professional managerial, customer service, and field personnel that have been involved in the K&K Glass non-automotive (flat glass) division have enthusiastically joined this new venture.
